Integrations overview

Everything you do in the HostTracker app can also be done from your own tools. All of the surfaces below sit on one REST API v2 and use one kind of credential: an API token you mint at Integrations -> API (/integrations/api), or an OAuth sign-in for AI assistants.

  • Base URL https://api2.host-tracker.com, header Authorization: Bearer <token>.
  • Every timestamp is Unix seconds; monitor interval is in seconds.
  • Errors are RFC 9457 problem documents with a stable code - see Error codes.
  • Lists are cursor-paged (limit + cursor, nextCursor / hasMore).
  • Writes accept an Idempotency-Key so retries are safe; some require one.
  • Bulk operations and report generation return a job to poll.
